Ali Landry Biography
Alison Gertrude Larter was born on February 28, 1976 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She came to public for the first time when she took the role in the November '96 issue of Esquire Magazine as "it"-girl, "Allegra Coleman". People were stunned by the beauty that was possessed by this mystery girl. Soon after, Ali was cast into a new film from MTV Films, in which she would co-star with one of the moment's hottest stars, James Van Der Beek.
Ali dazzled audiences with the debut of a very commonly referred to dessert: the infamous whipped-cream-bikini which Ali made so well known. Next, after some TV appearances (including Dawson's Creek and Just Shoot Me), we saw Ali gracing the screen with red-hair and a snappy attitude opposite Melissa Joan Hart in Drive Me Crazy.
Starting a new trend, Ali became a player in a remake of an old horror film called House on Haunted Hill opposite Taye Diggs, Famke Janssen, and Chris Kattan. Starting a new trend with her roles, Ali continued in the horror footstep. However, this time, it was edgier than many films that had been made before. Co-starring Devon Sawa (Idle Hands) and Kerr Smith (TV's Dawson's Creek), Ali took the part of "Clear Rivers" in New Line's Final Destination.
She lit audiences on fire with her extreme acting ability, finally taking a very central role and defining herself. Recently, after she turned 25, Ali appeared as a cover girl for Maxim Magazine for Men, sparking up even more interest and whipping up an even stronger fanbase. This summer, Ali will be starring in several new roles. First, the western American Outlaws; followed by Legally Blonde (co-starring Reese Witherspoon); Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, the final installment of Kevin Smith's film series; and of course Final Destination 2, the inevitable sequel to the 2000 blockbuster horror hit.
